[Avionics Today 06-23-2015] TRU Simulation + Training’s new ProFlight satellite pilot training center in Lutz, Fla., has successfully earned Part 142 certification from the FAA. The new center will initially offer training for the Cessna Citation CJ1/2/3 series aircraft, with future plans to expand training to include nine additional Cessna and Beechcraft models.
The first of the expanded offerings will include entitlement training for new Beechcraft King Air 250, 350i/ER and C90GTx turboprops outfitted with the Pro Line Fusion avionics suite. Entitlement training is slated for availability prior to the new model deliveries, which are expected to extend from third quarter 2015 to the second quarter of 2016.
