[Avionics Today 06-26-2015] Littelfuse has introduced six new series of Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) diodes that are up-screened for use in aerospace applications. The 5KP/15KPA/30KPA-HR and 5KP/15KPA/30KPA-HRA series TVS diodes are designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning surges and other transient voltage events. They have been screened and sorted for use in Direct Current (DC) line protection for applications that demand high reliability.
Well-suited for robust DC power protection and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection, these TVS diodes series are designed for application in avionics, such as Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC), airplane sensors, avionics computers, fly-by-wire flight control systems, cockpit electronic equipment, and airport landing aid systems.
