[Aviation Today 10-13-2015] NATS gained a new CEO today. Martin Rolfe has been appointed as the top executive of England’s Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) after taking on the role of interim CEO after Richard Deakin stepped down in May.

“Martin … has successfully steered the company during this interim period. Air navigation service providers face a period of significant change in the years ahead, and Martin’s proven intention to work closely with employees, customers and stakeholders make him the right choice to lead the company,” said NATS Chairman Paul Golby.

Martin Rolfe joined NATS as managing director of operations in March 2012, overseeing the delivery of NATS’ en route business. Previously, he worked for Lockheed Martin as managing director of the U.K. civil business.
