[Avionics Today 10-22-2015] Flyht Aerospace Solutions CEO Bill Tempany has announced his retirement from the top slot at the aviation technology company. He will be replaced by Tom Schmutz, previously of L-3 Communications, Airnet Communications, and Harris Corp., among others. Tempany will remain on the board of directors and has been appointed the chairman of the board. In addition, Flyht President Matt Bradley has resigned from his position to pursue new career opportunities, according to Flyht.
Flyht’s products include Flyhtstream, a live black box streaming capability that is currently flying on aircraft for the airline First Air, as well as fuel management and flight tracking solutions.
