[Avionics Today 12-02-2015] The FAA and EASA have jointly awarded Type Certification to Airbus’ Pratt & Whitney-powered A320neo variant. The Pure Power PW1100G-JM engine-equipped A320neo completed a 14-month flight test program to achieve the certification.
The certification paves the way for the jetliner type’s upcoming first delivery with launch customer Qatar Airways.
