[Avionics Today 04-05-2016] Airbus has selected Thales as a lead supplier for linefit and retrofit High Bandwidth Connectivity (HBC) solutions to be deployed on A320, A330 and A380 aircraft. HBC solutions are designed to operate standalone or connected to an In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system.
While Thales’ GX Connectivity solution is already selectable for A350s, this agreement enables Thales to become linefit offerable for connectivity products and related Value-Added Reseller (VAR) services on all legacy Airbus platforms.
