[Avionics Today 04-08-2016] Air France has selected Zodiac Inflight Innovations to install its Rave Centric In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) solution as well as Zodiac Seat France for the upcoming retrofit of the airline’s 15-aircraft Airbus A330 fleet.
The IFE system interface mirrors the usability of smartphones and tablets, from capacitive touch, high-resolution screens to app-based functionality, according to Zodiac. Content includes on-demand movies, TV shows, music, radio and a moving map, among others. Furthermore the system can pair passengers’ Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs) with the seatback display, enabling the two to interacting.
