[Avionics Today 07-27-2016] Boeing has released its 2016 737 MAX Flight Demonstration video to kick off EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The video highlights the MAX’s handling characteristics, short field takeoff capability and high-banking turns.
The 737 MAX incorporates the latest technology Advanced Technology winglets and other improvements to deliver the highest efficiency, reliability and passenger comfort in the single-aisle market. The new single-aisle airplane is equipped with CFM International LEAP-1B engines and other technologies to increase efficiency and deliver 20 percent lower fuel use than the first next-generation 737s. To date, the 737 MAX has accumulated 3,266 orders from 68 customers.
