[Avionics Today 08-05-2016] As of August 1, Lufthansa Systems has completed the installation of a portable In-Flight Entertaintment (IFE) solution for more than 70 aircraft. Lufthansa’s system, called BoardConnect Portable, has been launched on nearly the entire Eurowings A320 fleet. The remaining planes will follow by the middle of the month. Eurowings passengers are now able to access entertainment on their own smartphones and tablets.
