[Avionics Today 09-13-2016] With the enacting of the new small commercial drone rule in late August, the FAA forecasts that nearly 600,000 Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) could take flight in a commercial capacity within the year. And that doesn’t even count the thousands of UAVs Amazon is planning to use for home package delivery, or Dominoes is hoping to use for home pizza delivery (burrito delivery anyone? Just throwing it out there).
