[Avionics Magazine 11-22-2016] NATS, the U.K. Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP), has signed new grant agreements with the European Commission Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) totaling $27.6 million to help accelerate the modernization of the U.K.’s Air Traffic Management (ATM) technology. According to NATS, the grant agreements result from INEA’s 2015 Multi-Annual Call for projects supporting the European Union’s Connection Europe Facility (CEF) program and will help NATS in its deployment of Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR) technologies.
