Boeing has added a new printer to its existing catalog of equipment for its 737 Next Generation and MAX aircraft. The new printer, the ToughWriter 640 flight deck printer, has been designed with a form factor “optimized for flight deck configurations.”
The ToughWriter 640 is the newest addition to AstroNova’s airborne printer family and is the smallest 40-column printer available. It is used in flight decks to print flight planning information, ACARS message and ground communications. AstroNova expects to begin delivering the printer to Boeing in 2018.
