Aviation Electronics Europe’s (AEE) call for papers for next year’s AEE avionics and flight operations conference is open. Those interested can submit abstracts for consideration to be included in the conference program.
Abstracts on a variety of topics may be submitted. These might include the overall avionics industry, unmanned and optionally manned aircraft, rotorcraft avionics, and satellite and space avionics.
One specific topic AEE has highlighted is the Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR) project.
“ICAO estimates that [$120 billion] will be spent on air transportation systems transformation in the next 10 years,” AEE said. “While the NextGen and SESAR modernization programs account for a large share of this spending in Europe and the U.S., there are parallel investment initiatives in other regions.”
The deadline to submit abstracts is Nov. 10. The conference is set for June 19 to 20, 2018, in Munich.
