Airbus is launching a new technical data management tool this month called airnavX.
Airbus touts the new tool as a cost saver which will expedite research and information distribution and optimize workflow for mechanics and engineers or Airbus jets. The company said it acts as a central point for browsing and downloading all principal Airbus technical manuals and troubleshooting fault codes.
Airbus said airnavX is being made available to airlines, lessors, suppliers, subcontractors and MRO companies. The company expressed plans to continue work on the tool through 2018, including intranet and stand-alone releases.
