The first two Airbus A330neo aircraft have been rolled out at Airbus’ France headquarters, painted for service with launch operator TAP Air Portugal.
The Portuguese airline has an order in place for 10 A330neos and will operate as many more on lease, according to Airbus.
Airbus touts the A330neo as featuring 25% less fuel burn per seat than previous generation competitors. It exclusively uses the Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 Engine compared with smaller options on the base A330.
