Chicago Jet Group has received FAA approval to complete FANS 1/A+ system installations that incorporate the Latitude DL150 satellite data unit onto 12 additional business jet models.
The STC is based on the Universal Avionics Systems Corporation SBAS FMS and uses the Latitude DL150 SDU as the CPDLC/ADS-C data link. The STC meets requirements for RCP240 and RSP180. The Chicago Jet Group Aircraft Model List STC is EASA-approved with the company expecting Canadian and ANAC approvals in the next two months.
Specific aircraft models under this STC include the Falcon 50/50EX/2000/2000EX, Gulfstream G-100/G-II/G-III/G-V and Bombardier Challenger 600/601/604.
Chicago Jet Group’s Kevin Hufford said that the company should receive additional approval for the Falcon 900/900B, Gulfstream G-IV and Boeing 767-200 in the next two to three weeks.
